Time.. is two.

الدهر يومان ذا أمن وذا خطـر
والعيش عيشان ذا صفو وذا كدر
أما ترى البحر تعلو فوقه جيف
وتستقر بأقصى قاعـه الـدرر
وفي السماء نجوم لا عداد لهـا
وليس يكسف إلا الشمس والقمر

Time is two days, one of safety, one of danger
Life is two lives, one clear (calm), one with hardship
Don’t you see (how) bodies float on top of the sea
Yet, at the bottom of  it, settle the pearls
And in the heavens are stars that have no count
Yet, (the only) eclipsed ones, are the sun and the moon
